Masks

Using facials can be very beneficial to the skin because it promotes cellular regeneration by shedding the outer layers of the skin. Contrary to popular belief that facials are hard to create, household ingredients such as milk, lemon, eggs, and other common ingredients can provide a great facial for you.

There are skin many other kinds of homemade facial masks you can try out. For example, some people put lemon on their face to remove blemishes. Remember though that you should not use masks on a daily basis because it can dry the skin.

Tomato-Lemon Mask

1 over-ripe tomato
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp instant oatmeal

Put all ingredients in blender, puree until smooth. Apply to face, let soak 20 minutes, rinse with warm water.

Yeast-Yogurt Mask

1 tsp brewer's yeast
2 Tbsp unflavored full-fat yogurt

Mix enough yogurt into the yeast to make a thin paste. Pat gently onto oily areas and allow to dry. Leave on no longer than 20 minutes. Rinse first with warm water, then cold. Blot dry.
